This course is appropriate both for radiology trainees in the latter half of their training, and for consultants who wish to establish or expand their knowledge of body, neuro and MSK MRI.
The lectures cover imaging strategy, techniques and image review from a problem based perspective. There is an emphasis on the most commonly encountered pathologies, and the pitfalls associated with interpretation. There are also lectures covering the most commonly used sequences.
The lunchtime tutorials are set up to provide a more informal small group environment in which attendees can review cases with a specialist and ask questions in a non-intimidating environment. In addition, the tutorials will cover topics such as breast and prostate MRI, and MRI artifacts, which are not fully covered in the lectures. You can attend up to three tutorials during the course. Please sign up on a “first come, first served” basis when you arrive on Wednesday morning.
PLEASE NOTE: The timetables below are from the 2017 course of the same name and has been provided for example only. An up to date timetable will be provided at a later date.
